Fruity Pebbles Creamsicle Pie

No Story, Just Dessert: Fruity Pebble Creamsicle Pie

Sometimes there are no stories to tell. No nostalgic memory. No deep culinary discovery. Just fun. Just something brightly colored that makes people smile. That’s this recipe.

There are so many recipes floating around every arm of social media. One day, this one showed up in my feed and made me pause. Fruity Pebbles? Cheesecake vibes? No baking required? Okay, I'm listening.

I love Fruity Pebbles cereal like the next person. I love cheesecake. And this sort of sounded like a funky little no-bake cheesecake. So, I figured—why not see how I could make it, then make it my own?

The Crust: Marshmallow Fruity Pebble Goodness

It starts with what’s basically a rice crispy bar—except made with Fruity Pebbles. And instead of just being bars, you shape it into a pie crust. It holds its shape perfectly, slices like a dream, and doesn’t fight with the filling. The marshmallow-chewy texture gives it this fun, nostalgic twist.

The Filling: Creamy, Fruity, and Just a Little Fancy

There are several variations of this dessert out there, so beware if you go digging. But the recipe I landed on (shared below!) was made exactly as you'll see—and devoured by my family, so it’s been fully tried and tested.

Yes, I used Cool Whip. <gasp> Not freshly whipped cream, which some other versions call for. But I wanted easy. And honestly, it was the right call.

My twist? Two drops of orange oil.

I don’t know if you have orange oil in your pantry, but if not, let me just say: get yourself a bottle. I've had the same little vial for over 20 years, and it still delivers. One or two drops can transform a dessert—or even a beef stew (I swear, orange and beef flavors together are tremendous).

That orange oil, blended into the creamy cheese and Cool Whip combo, gave the filling a surprising creamsicle flavor. Bright, creamy, citrusy. And the bits of Fruity Pebbles folded into the filling? Extra fruity fun.

The Verdict?

This dessert is a hit. Fun. Fruity. Chewy. Creamy. It’s everything a summer dessert should be—bright, cold, colorful, and gone before you know it.

Bon Appetit!
